Laura

Advanced Occupational Therapist 

MSc BSc MRCOT

Laura has worked in a range of different NHS and education services for over 10 years since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2011. This includes Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS), forensic services, and paediatrics. Laura specialises in using occupation focused practice to support health and wellbeing for children and young people.

Laura is trained in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) and Sensory Attachment Intervention (SAI).

​

I believe that that there services should be available to and for all and feel sad that services are being restricted and limited further due to cuts and funding.

Sarah

Associate Occupational Therapist

MRCOT

Sarah qualified as an Occupational Therapist from Oxford Brookes University in 2000. She worked predominantly in Mental Health, mainly in Psychiatry.

Following her relocation to Hong Kong, Sarah worked in drug rehabilitation. She stayed working with this client group in different settings prior to having her three children.

Sarah then moved to Armenia, where she has lived for the last 8 years. Here, she trained in Integrated Listening Systems (ILS) and worked with children with ASD. She also worked helping parents though various different parenting and support groups.

Her passion is to enable support of children and families living full and holistic lives.

Sarah has recently returned from Armenia and has completed her Return to Practice placement as an Occupational Therapist prior to joining us at Grow Therapy Services. Sarah is also currently training to be a counsellor.

Laura

Advanced Associate Occupational Therapist 

BSc MRCOT

Laura is an Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner (SI Education) up to Level 3. 

​

Laura is currently seeing young people one evening a week, alongside working in a Specialised Educational Needs School.

​

Laura is hugely experienced with working with a range of young people who have SEN Needs and EHCP's.
