Assessment Services

We also offer 'stand alone' assessment packages. This can naturally lead onto therapy, but also might be enough to help understand and identify what would be useful.  We use a range of standardised and non-standardised assessment tools, observation, and detailed reports from yourself and others who you want involved in the process.

The report is personalised to your needs and contains a range of recommendations and advice.

The primary focus of the assessment is to understand your challenges to participation and your strengths to participation. Including assessing your sensory difficulties along with your sensory processing needs, and how this might be impacting on everyday life skills and regulation.

Some of the assessment tools we use are:

  • Ayres Clinical Observations (Trauma Informed).

  • Sensory Processing Measure (2nd Edition)

  • Adult/Adolescent Sensory History (AASH)

  • Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System (ABAS)

  • Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration

  • The Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS)

  • Evaluation of Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI)

  • Occupational Self-Assessment

Our assessment service for adults can be conducted online or in person and costs £500 (not including travel costs where required).
