What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy is a health profession which aims to facilitate a child’s engagement, participation and performance in every day meaningful activities. We apply theory and evidence to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. Interventions are based on psychological, cognitive, behavioural, neurological, occupational science and sensory integration theory.
Where are you based?
We're based in Southampton, UK. However, we regularly see people from Hampshire, West Sussex, Wilshire, Dorset and New Forest.
We also have families asking for assessments in Somerset.
Laura travels to the Isle of Wight on Tuesdays.
What are your rates?
We have separate rates for families, Schools and Community Interest Companies (CIC) and other organisations.
For Adults
Assessment: Start at £500
Therapy: Start at £80
For Children and Young People
Assessment: Starts at £750
Therapy: Starts at £80
Note we offer a subsidised rate for families who need this.
Travel costs start at £40 per hour.
Do you need a diagnosis to see an Occupational Therapist?
No, although having a diagnosis can be helpful there are lots of people who might be noticing their health and wellbeing impacting what they are doing - but do not know why. We can help if you have a diganosis or not to support your occupational participation.
